P.V. Narasimha Rao

Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao was born on 28 June 1921 in Vangara, Telangana. Growing up in a middle-class family, he showed exceptional academic talent and a keen interest in history, literature, and politics. He earned degrees in arts and law and worked in academia and public service before entering politics, developing a strong sense of responsibility toward social development and cultural preservation.

Known for his simplicity, discipline, and multilingual abilities, Rao was fluent in Telugu, Hindi, English, and other languages. Despite holding the office of Prime Minister, he led a humble life and earned respect for his integrity. His love for Telugu language and culture remained a core part of his identity throughout his life.
